Tutors and Schedules-FREE AmeriCorps Math Tutoring

Through the AmeriCorps STEMM program, skilled tutor mentors provide free online math tutoring and support to K-12 students. Any questions about the program may be directed to mhosten@arizona.edu or call 520.390.2344

To access tutoring, find the tutor providing services for the proper grade/course level and during the times and days the student is available. Click on that tutor's blue grade level. This will take you to the zoom site where you can enter the passcode "math" to join the zoom session at the appropriate time and on the correct day. At that time, the student can join and immediately get help. There is no registration required. All tutors have passed state and federal background checks.

Para acceder a la tutoría, en nuestro sitio busque al tutor que ofrezca servicios para el nivel de grado o curso adecuado, durante los días y horarios en que su estudiante esté disponible. Haga clic en el nivel de grado de ese tutor. Esto le llevará al sitio de Zoom, donde podrá ingresar la contraseña "math" para unirse a la sesión de Zoom en el día y la hora indicados. En ese momento, el estudiante puede unirse y recibir ayuda de inmediato. No se requiere registro. Todos los tutores cuentan con tarjetas de autorización IVP con huellas dactilares.

PRIVATE TUTORING LISTS (These are not free tutors)

UA students who have successfully completed the Tutor Scholar class, received positive recommendations from the teachers with whom they worked,  and who wish to work as private math tutors are included on a list provided by the Center. These tutors have worked with elementary, middle, and/or high school students during the semester they were enrolled in the tutoring course. Tutor contact information is included in the list. Tutors set their own rates.

When contacting a tutor about their services, please put the grade level and child's name in the subject line with the word "tutoring". This will help the tutors to respond.
