AmeriCorps Math Tutoring - FREE for All AZ K-12 Students
Through the AmeriCorps STEMM program, skilled tutor mentors provide free online math tutoring and support to K-12 students. Any questions about the program may be directed to gomezm@arizona.edu or call 520.309.8012
How to Access Free Virtual Math Tutoring:
- Identify the student's grade level or math course.
- Review the tutoring schedule and find a tutor who:
- Provides support for the appropriate grade level or course.
- Is available on a day and time that works for the student.
- Click the blue grade level next to the tutor's name.
- Join the Zoom meeting using the provided link.
- Enter the passcode:
math - Attend the tutoring session at the scheduled day and time. Students can receive help as soon as they join the session.
Before You Join:
- No registration is required.
- Students may join any scheduled tutoring session that matches their grade level or course.
- All tutors have successfully completed state and federal background checks.

PRIVATE TUTORING LISTS (These are not free tutors)
UA students who have successfully completed the Tutor Scholar class, received positive recommendations from the teachers with whom they worked, and who wish to work as private math tutors are included on a list provided by the Center. These tutors have worked with elementary, middle, and/or high school students during the semester they were enrolled in the tutoring course. Tutor contact information is included in the list. Tutors set their own rates.
When contacting a tutor about their services, please put the grade level and child's name in the subject line with the word "tutoring". This will help the tutors to respond.
