Pi Festivities

Educators, National Pi Day is coming up! Have you ever celebrated Pi Day with your colleagues or students? Do you have ideas to share with educators to celebrate Pi Day? We have two amazing ways for you to engage in the wonders that are Pi and Circles.

You can join the Arizona Department of Education online, Tuesday, March 5th. Register online to explore resources and activities about Pi ℼ.  These activities are for you to take back to your classroom. Be prepared to be an active participant while engaging in collaborative activities and discussions. You may be challenged in your thinking about teaching and learning and we hope you are able to be reflective, risk takers, and find ways to take the learning back to your school site.

You can also joing the CRR in person on Wednesday, March 6th to explore resources and activities about Pi. We would love for you to invite your school community members, students, parents, and families to join us at the University of Arizona for food, fun, and games centered around Pi and circles. Pizza will also be served on a first-come, first-serve basis.  No registration is required. Come to Bio West 301, just north of the 6th Street parking garage, and have a great time.

Come and have a great time!
