Hello, MEAD 2025 Attendees! We are very excited to see you this year at our 21th Annual Mathematics Educator Appreciation Day! Below you will find directions to help you register for this year’s conference and sessions.

1) How to Claim Your Ticket Using Eventbrite
2) How to Register for MEAD Sessions Using the Conference Platform (Sched)
MEAD 2025 will take place on Saturday, January 25th
You will select EITHER an in-person or virtual ticket during registration and be limited to those types of sessions. Be aware of which ticket you choose!
The registration deadline is Friday, January 10, 2025 - register before sessions fill up!
The conference consists of 3 session blocks running 8 AM - 12 PM, followed by the Keynote Luncheon until 2:00 PM. A professional development certificate will be provided for the sessions attended.
- In-person participants can enjoy breakfast while exploring the Exhibition Hall at Tucson High Magnet School.
- The Keynote Address will be live-streamed on the MEAD Keynote webpage for those not able to join us in person for the Keynote Luncheon at the UArizona Grand Ballroom.
Registration Process
Please read these instructions carefully! You may review the conference agenda online at Sched by clicking here, but you must be registered at Eventbrite first. There are two parts of the registration process described below, make sure you read thoroughly! If you have any further questions or concerns, email us at : math-crr@arizona.edu
Eventbrite Registration
- Review the conference information on the red "Register Here Button" below and select “Get Tickets”
- Review the ticket options and select your ticket type (e.g. In-Person or Virtual)
- Conference Speakers should use the specific Speaker link emailed to them!
- NOTE** Your selection of an In-Person or Virtual ticket in Eventbrite will limit your session selection options on the Sched platform accordingly!
- Select “Check Out” (for those educators outside of AZ, you can pay directly in Eventbrite)
- Enter the required information and select “Register”. Now that you have your MEAD ticket (Yay!) you will not have to return to Eventbrite for this event!
A confirmation email will be sent to your email address and you will be redirected to the conference platform, Sched. (The directions below this section will help you register for sessions using the Sched platform)

Sched Registration (Conference Platform)
- After Eventbrite, you should be immediately redirected to Sched to set up your account and profile using the same email address that you used in Eventbrite. If your do not have a ticket immediately, you may have to wait for a welcome email for Sched, so please check your Spam Folder and Google promotions tab just in case.
- If you have used Sched before, but can’t remember your password, go to Sched.com and type in your email address. Then request to reset your password. Make sure to use the SAME EMAIL ADDRESS that you used in Eventbrite so that your ticket transfers! If you are not getting any notifications, make sure to add notifications@sched.com and math-crr@arizona.edu to your contacts so messages are not blocked!
- Once you are logged in at Sched, click on the "Schedule" tab to view the available sessions.

SCHEDULE: Filter by Type, Grade-band, Content Area, Time, and Virtual/In-Person to help identify the sessions you want to attend. We highly recommend you start filtering by grade-band to help focus on your areas of interest.
- NOTE** Your selection of an In-Person or Virtual ticket in Eventbrite will limit your session selection options accordingly!
**NOTE that session capacity is limited to 30 participants in-person and 45 participants online. However, everyone is invited to attend the live-streamed keynote address which is pinned to your schedule. Stay tuned after the keynote to meet the winners of the Excellence and Resiliency in Mathematics Teaching Awards!
- Hover your cursor over your profile picture and select My Schedule to view your schedule for MEAD! From there you can choose to print or email yourself a copy of your schedule. (It’s good to have a backup!)
Hover your cursor over your profile picture and select Settings. Once there, be sure to turn on and receive email announcements and updates from the organizers.
