Pi Festivities
Educators, National Pi Day is coming up! Have you ever celebrated Pi Day with your colleagues or students? Do you have ideas to share with educators to celebrate Pi Day? We have two amazing ways for you to engage in the wonders that are Pi and Circles.
You can join the Arizona Department of Education online, Tuesday, March 5th. Register online to explore resources and activities about Pi ℼ. These activities are for you to take back to your classroom. Be prepared to be an active participant while engaging in collaborative activities and discussions. You may be challenged in your thinking about teaching and learning and we hope you are able to be reflective, risk takers, and find ways to take the learning back to your school site.
You can also joing the CRR in person on Wednesday, March 6th to explore resources and activities about Pi. We would love for you to invite your school community members, students, parents, and families to join us at the University of Arizona for food, fun, and games centered around Pi and circles. Pizza will also be served on a first-come, first-serve basis. No registration is required. Come to Bio West 301, just north of the 6th Street parking garage, and have a great time.
Come and have a great time!

If you are having trouble finding the Chem Building on campus either on your own or through the directional video on the home page, hopefully, these written directions will help!
The Chemistry Building Address: 1306 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85721
(Make sure to put walking directions on Google Maps once you are parked!)
6th Street Garage Address: 1201 E 6 St, Tucson Arizona
You are able to park either at the 6th Street Parking Garage or across 6th Street in the South of 6th Parking Lots.
Starting from the 6th Street Parking lot next to the Environment and Natural Resource 2 Building, cross Lowell Street and head straight towards 4th Street between the Gould-Simpson and PAS Building.
Once you reach 4th Street, make a right!
Once you walk past the Marley Building (look for the blue building sign), make a left and follow along the large bike/pedestrian path.
After staying to the left side of the path, before you reach Old Main, turn right between the Robert L. Nuget building and the Carl S. Marvel Laboratories building.
After going left through the walkway between the two buildings, the side of the Chemistry Building entrance should be at the end!
The elevators are located to the right of the room you enter.
Make sure to go to the third floor and the room is directly to your left :)
